How do you reset the %26quot;maintenance required%26quot; light on a Toyota Yaris after an oil change? We will hope someone will know for sure.

Here a few to try. Not starting the car. Turn on the key and try holding the Gas pedal to the floor, or push 2-3 times to the floor. May hold the brake and try also. If, you have a display button that can scroll various information (Like Oil index, may show 50% stuff like that) Scroll to the oil display and push and hold the %26quot;Reset%26quot; button until it resets. May try disconnecting the battery, but, many may not clear on that.

These just guesses. Maybe someone will know for %26quot;Fact%26quot;.How do you reset the %26quot;maintenance required%26quot; light on a Toyota Yaris after an oil change? That's pretty stupid. If not, under where the light is )at least in my vehicle), there is a little %26quot;window%26quot; - stick a pen tip through and push back the little dial to reset)..the red light should now go off. they will need to walk out to your car, and get up underneith your dash (in most cases)

however, this is a problem for a few other people online: look what i found when i searched:
