the oil change light shows on the control panel, how do i reset?Does any one know how to reset the change oil light on a 2004 Pontiac grand am ?1. With the engine off, turn the ignition key to RUN.
2. Fully push and release the accelerator pedal slowly three times within five seconds. (If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL light flashes, the system is resetting.)
3. Turn the key to OFF, then start the vehicle. I used to have a 99 Grand Prix, and I had to turn the ignition to ON (not starting the engine), and press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times.
