When to change oil on a 2004 BMW 330ci?

When to change oil on a 2004 BMW 330ci? 3,000 or 10,000? The car indicates when its time to change the oil, but i would like to know ahead of time and the manual does not show how many mileage when it is due. Also, you should change your oil annually if you don't reach the mileage. I recommend Castrol Syntec 5w30 for that car. Just get an OEM filter, they're not that much. The lights on the dash take into account certain factors (depending on what year the car is) Doing it at 3,000 is certainly a waste of oil and money. Just make sure you use a BMW approved (LL-01 or LL-04) synthetic oil and a quality filter (I don't see any reason not to get an OEM or Mahle filter) and you should be fine.
