How do i change oil on a push lawn mower?

a push lawn mower was given to me and oil in it needs to be change. how do i do an oil change on a lawn mower? what type of oil do i use? where can i get more info on this?How do i change oil on a push lawn mower?4 cycle oil. remove drain plug at base of engine and open fill cap to allow oil to drain quicker. replace drain plug and fill oil to level on dip stick. dip stick is part of the fill cap.
