Is it possible to do it by myself, without having to take the car to a mechanic?How to do the oil change ?? 1995 Chevrolet.?Simple. Jack the car up. Put Jack stands under the car. CHOCK the Wheels so the car can not roll. Place Bucket under Oil Drain Plug. Use A Proper size wrench to remove plug. Drain the oil.



When the oil is out of the car replace the Oil Plug and tighten.

Find the Oil Filter. Place the Drain pan (bucket) under filter and remove. install new filter by tightening the filter untill it is snug and then turn an additional 1/2 turn. Fill the engine with the reccomended

oil from the manufactures book. run the car for a little while. then check for leaks. Take car off of the stands, remove the chocks and enjoy the rest of your day.



OR...

Go To Wal-Mart and spend about $15.00 to $20.00 and have them do it in about a halfan hour.
